Maya’s Homes Begin a Project

— Services

Everything from the structural permit to the final coat of paint.

Managed by one studio. Every project drawn, scheduled, and built in-house — from the first sketch to the last lightbulb. The studio works across the Cascais and Lisbon area.

— For clients arriving

A finished home, ready to live in.

For clients buying in Cascais from abroad. Maya’s Homes finds the property, inspects it, manages the purchase, then handles the full home renovation in Portugal and furnishes it — so the keys you receive open a home that is already yours.

— The signature commission

A unified approach, beginning to end.

Apartments, lofts, villas, restaurant-to-residence conversions. Six to ten months of decisions, taken by one person in one studio — drawn first, costed second, built third. Every wall, every fitting, every finish carries the same signature from sketch to handover.

High-end residential interior design is implicit in the work — every room is shaped by Maja as she draws it.

— A refresh, not a rebuild

Kitchens & bathrooms.

The bathroom and the kitchen are the soul of a home. A full renovation isn’t always the answer — a kitchen renovation or bathroom renovation alone can change the whole vibe of the house.

— The hidden work

Walls moved or removed.
Beams added.

Maya’s Homes works only within what the law allows. Every project is cleared with the council before it starts — IMPIC, AMI, Cascais, Sintra, and Lisbon preservation permits filed in-house, in your language. Every craftsperson on site is fully declared, ensuring a fiscalização (regulatory inspection) never stops your build mid-project. The dull mechanics that make the renovation possible.

— Adjacent to the renovation

Before contracts.
And long after handover.

— Before

Pre-Purchase Advice.

A second pair of eyes before you sign. Maja walks the property with you — before contracts, not after — and tells you, plainly, what the renovation will cost and whether the home is worth the work, or worth the cost. Plenty of clients commission the walk and then walk away. That is fine.

A single morning. A written summary within the week. No commission, no agency relationship.

— After

Aftercare.

Twelve months of tune-ups and trade callouts after handover, included. Beyond the first year, the studio stays on the call.

We finish your home and stay near it.

— The truth

Standards, not preferences.

Maya’s Homes does not take cosmetic-only commissions, single-room paint refreshes, or rush jobs under three months. Every home is held to the same standard, and that standard takes time. Costs are quoted privately, after a site walk — every home is different, and a quote made before seeing the room is a quote made wrong.

— Beyond renovation

Maya’s Care.

Property care that runs after the build is done. Condominium repairs and façade restoration. Short-let preparation between guests. Ongoing oversight for owners abroad — managed through Maya’s Homes’ sister practice.
