— A refresh, not a rebuild
The bathroom and the kitchen are the soul of a home. A full renovation isn’t always the answer — a kitchen renovation or bathroom renovation alone can change the whole vibe of the house.
— The hidden work
Maya’s Homes works only within what the law allows. Every project is cleared with the council before it starts — IMPIC, AMI, Cascais, Sintra, and Lisbon preservation permits filed in-house, in your language. Every craftsperson on site is fully declared, ensuring a fiscalização (regulatory inspection) never stops your build mid-project. The dull mechanics that make the renovation possible.

— Before
A second pair of eyes before you sign. Maja walks the property with you — before contracts, not after — and tells you, plainly, what the renovation will cost and whether the home is worth the work, or worth the cost. Plenty of clients commission the walk and then walk away. That is fine.
— After
Twelve months of tune-ups and trade callouts after handover, included. Beyond the first year, the studio stays on the call.
— The truth
Maya’s Homes does not take cosmetic-only commissions, single-room paint refreshes, or rush jobs under three months. Every home is held to the same standard, and that standard takes time. Costs are quoted privately, after a site walk — every home is different, and a quote made before seeing the room is a quote made wrong.

Property care that runs after the build is done. Condominium repairs and façade restoration. Short-let preparation between guests. Ongoing oversight for owners abroad — managed through Maya’s Homes’ sister practice.
